Hi, I'm not going to mess with that. Last year I was accused of being GG, now I'm down to being Paternakski.

DOWN??? Mogami, you have insulted me for the last time. I'm moving out and leaving you to raise the children by yourself.

Good god, I just noticed that I'm a freakin' hero. I guess I'll have to mend my ways in order to set a good example, huh? [/B]

Please don't mend your ways, Pasternaski. You lend a lot of character to these boards. I look forward to reading your insightful and sometimes silly posts. All that being a hero means is we have to assume you know what you are taking about. Sure!

The combatants stand back-to-back. Referee Clamatomoto counts the cadence: "1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 ..." Suddenly, the cowardly Mogami whirls and launches a surprise attack, flinging the buffalo turd directly at the unsuspecting Pisyernoogie's head. It hits him, full-force Pearl Harbor style, just below the left ear. "Japs in Scenario 17, you coward" says Postanogre before falling senseless to the ground, "Try that on my Oztraloozhian hordes with their S-boats, immortal death level bombers, and Nazgul coastwatchers. They'll teach you a lesson!" (and that's a lot of verbiage from someone who's just fallen senseless to the ground).

Later, the victim of this outrage awakes, just in the Nimitz of time.

He sits up and mutters to himself, "That's what I get for messing around with a guy named after a Japanese heavy cruiser."

Was it me that accused you of being GG, Mogami? Because I remember suspecting that you were as well...

Replacements are only going to get assigned once per week? Does this mean that you could lose 1 P39 operationally on May1, get a single replacement on May 2, lose 15 to maurading A6M2s on May 2, and not be eligible for any more replacements until May 8 check / May 9 delivery? Could lead to some gamey behaviour. Overall I like the sound of the system, just expected checks/replacements would be generated daily.
