Combat results from PBEM opponents turn?

Post by SMK-at-work »

Are they visible at all? The playback obviously shows moves, but it seems to flash past the combats without any ability to pause & examine the damage.

Am I missing something, or is it just not available?

Thanks

You can only set the delay to 'slow', no combat results there possible. Same with a game vs. the AI; only your attacks show the losses, not the ones from Elmer.

Not quite. You can see the combat results in a game vs the PO. Have you turned "detailed combat reports" off..?

I thought that Larry Fulkerson once promoted a tool here to get that thing done, but I am not sure as I never got that to run for me for some reason. My impression was that it was to help to estimate the lossess sustained and made during the opponent turn.

It just puts the sitrep log text file into some kind of graphical format. But all you need is within the sitrep log file. I usually exchange the sitreps with my PBEM opponents

And some discussion about it printable.asp?m=3179575

Thanks for the tips :)

Hey SMK-at-work dude: are you getting any utility out of my project? I'm surprised that anybody wants to use it. It turns the log file
into an HTML file you can browse w/ your web browser to see what losses occured during the combat phase. I used it for a while
and then after some significant passage of time I too dropped it. I'd be curious to know if it helps you at all.
