War of the Rats

Post by midgard30 »

Questions about the setup/scenario. I dream to play a game based on the Stalingrad battle since I read War of the Rats. So far, we saw pictures of factories and what I believe to be Stalingrad's outskirts. Will there be firefights in the city center (I suppose yes) and how important will be the role of snipers? I didn't see one yet.

The board game Streets of Stalingrad and Battle for Stalingrad..are ones I'd love to see either converted or used as inspiration for a PC game.

As for books...

Island of Fire by Jason D marks is worth every penny..

There are snipers in the game and they can be very deadly. They can suddenly appear when enemy troops are moving!
Yes there are scenarios that take place in the city proper.

but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"

That's why I haven't see them. [;)]

This is again excellent news. Ah... I'm so tempted to ask the killer question. You know, that one: When?

Even I don't know the answer to that one... [;)]
