From all appearances, Raiden seems to have evacuated northern Australia entirely. I have heard a story about Japanese soldiers having a picnic at Ayer's Rock but disappearing, but I must caution that these are unsubstantiated rumors. In my own investigation I found Aborigines who spoke of meeting them in the Dream Time. I have not found these people to traffic in idle gossip, and must take their words seriously.

Soldiers in the southern zone were notified of an Imperial rescript that had been issued chastising them for the lack of photo intel in Hawaii and at a secret location in the continental U.S. code named 'The Magic Kingdom'. Local commanders immediately issued orders rectifying this terrible lapse.[8D]

Well it definitely WAS back in the day when I got to participate in a concert there with my junior H.S. band (1st chair trumpet), but since I haven't been back since, I have no clue as to it's present metaphysical state of being. [:D]

The "Magic Kingdom" must be synonymous with "The Dreamtime". Both seem rather vague these days ...ORIGINAL: wyrmm

Here's the map. If some of the ranges are confusing, that is because I clicked on the hex circled in green for some of them.

Here is something peculiar. This was in my operations report, but the units in question are still there, at full strength, with disruption = 0 and morale = 99. Does anyone know what this means?

Here's the situation in China. The circled area upper right is a min Battle of the Bulge that has been going on for some time. The other circled area is where he's made some progress of late.

I have seen that from time to time during landings. I think it means when the landings started the ships had used up most of their ops points for that phase [night] and only landed a few part squads which could not form a unit fraction, or the fraction dispersed to take cover with no officers to rally around. Next phase, enough of each of the units landed to re-absorb the dispersed troops.ORIGINAL: geofflambert

wyrmm's sister is in some sort of medical emergency. For those of you inclined to such things, this may be a good time to pray.

Moving back in time, these are the Ndeni invasion events for 4/12/43. Minesweepers have arrived with a couple BBs for protection. Looks like BBs aren't very good against CLs and DDs.

Didn't know about Wyrmm's sister, good news then! [:)]
