Day 4 - 1200hrs.

As the map shows, my forces are now fully engaged in a huge battle around the Schonberg bridge.

Elsewhere, I have managed to hold onto the southern most bridge and continue to put pressure on the two objectives in the west.

Day 4 1700hrs

The attack continues.

I have been able to maintain a strong attack throughout the day and have started to gain a foothold on the East side of the bridge - this will be an important area to hold onto over night.

Elsewhere, additional reinforcing units took a different route to Andler and were ambushed by enemy units in the northern most area of the map.

In the west, I will continue to exert pressure on the objectives. So far my hold of Wallerode has not been counter-attacked.

Day 5.

Day 5 pretty much focused on protecting the objectives. At this point the main fighting was completed - pretty much all troops are fatigued beyond any reasonable attack initiative.

This is the final situation at the close of the scenario.

Marginal Victory.
Pretty happy with the result, especially given the resolve of many of the enemy units.

A marginal victory that takes in all of the bridges is a win from my perspective.

Wonder what the 41 "Other" AFV losses where due too. I forget what "Other" actually could be.

It does include cases where a unit disbands for whatever reason and there is no eligible unit nearby that take that type of equipment.

Reaper really sorry for your loss..I'm sure Ranger will come along and give his condolence..he obviously had no idea and I'm certain would have used a different turn of phrase if he had.

Yeah,

Well, getting back to my AAR.

I might give this one another go when patch 4 is released. The review of the surrender conditions might make this a little easier on the advancing German units.

However, I am eager to continue the fight - in kind of date order - through the campaign.

I am intrigued to know how the Game feels from the other side. Is the AI a worthy attacking unit or is it better scripted to react and defend?
