Here's a superb version of the excellent Kate Bush track, Running Up That Hill. It's done by Placebo and ITV are using it in an advert at the moment.

As part of my total computer rebuild I reinstalled my old music archives... about 40 gigabytes of songs... been on an orgy of listening for a couple of days now.

Part of it is pulling my Bose Companion III speakers off the studio recording rig (still no power supply) and put it on the gaming rig which I moved to the living room where I could look out the windows to monitor the livestock (kind of a ranch control center installation). Much better than being back in a separate bedroom where I can't see what mischief the animals are getting into!

Wish I could share... so much music!

Included in my 40 gigs of music is an album of sound effects and while on random shuffle I just hit a "battle sounds" track and suddenly (at very loud volume) I've got a war going on in my living room... about jumped out of my skin! [:D]

Warren Zevon- Werewolves of London

Oh yea, loved this one... to bad that Warren kinda got pigeon-holed by the popularity of this one hit... and so bad he's RIP :(

Playing it now in memory of a really nice and talented guy who deserved a longer life!

Yea... and refused to see a doctor till he was terminal :( Could be my future, I self treat my diabetes with diet and exercise... I'll either survive to 90 or be another casualty in a long string of females in my family from diabetes :( None of them fought it with diet, exercise and weight loss though and so far... so good :)

Back to Warren... he knew a lot of people though... interesting biography. That he roomed with Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood for awhile was really interesting and I had no idea they did some of the vocal work on Werewolves of London.
