If you don't release it soon, guys, the Giant Kaltors are going to get fat!

The giant kaltors in my game already are fat, they've eaten a ton of my ships. [:'(]

That would be the giant kaltor that is wobbling through space instead of chasing straight after your ships. [;)]

I know! I don't want to exhaust my intense desire to play DW right now just before Shadows is out either. Just got System Shock 2 on Gog.com so going to spend my time on that until release

I am in the same boat. I really want to play DW right now after watching all these LPs etc. but then I am thinking how much better it would be in a week...

I am assuming the game did go Gold. Do we have a firm release date yet?

Didn't see any post about it going gold on Friday. So probably some days late.
Maybe no release next week then, but the week after instead.

Erik-

Just a reminder from a few other threads, please make sure there are clear directions either in the readme or otherwise posted giving folks the official word on what to do to create a clean install (including the necessity to start/run each iteration before installing the next patch or expansion).

Many users of prior expansions already have mods installed which (due to the current usage of the theme folder) by their nature override default files as well as have files in the theme folder. I assume it would be a good idea for anyone to start off Shadows with a clean install to ensure the proper default files are present before they start using mods again.
For those interested, forum thread link to post with a master list of all my DW mods: Link

The correct install order is

1: DW
2: Shakturi
3: Legends
4: Shadows
5: (Latest shadows patch, whenever one is availalbe)

Please wait until I post here, especially if you want the promotional bundle pricing. It's about to all go live and I don't want anyone caught in the middle as setting it live tends to be spread out over 15 minutes with pieces going live here and there.

Shadows is live though on its own and $19.99 is the correct promotional pricing for that, so if all you want is Shadows you should be fine now.

Regards,

- Erik
