Graphic Mods: a must have!

The development team behind the award-winning games Decisive Campaigns: From Warsaw To Paris and Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive year and theater of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue simulates the German drive to Stalingrad and into the Caucasus of the summer of 1942, as well as its May preludes (2nd Kharkov offensive, Operation Trappenjagd) and also the Soviet winter counter-offensive (Operation Uranus) that ended with the encirclement of 6th Army in Stalingrad and the destruction of the axis minor armies. With many improvements including the PBEM++ system, this is a release to watch for wargamers!

Graphic Mods: a must have!

Post by Hugolin »

(I post in the general forum because the Mod forum is pretty quiet, and I want new players to know about this pack)

Yesterday I finally got around to download and install both mods: Krupp's Graphix edition V2 and
RRRH-Sr graphix edition V2. Well I cannot talk about the other graphic mod packages out there (sorry other designers!), but I want to say one word to everyone here who have overlooked to explore this mod: go and get it!

I've been at DCCB for over a month now, and for the first time yesterday I was able to see the difference between minor, medium and major rivers. In fact, it's like if a new topography revealed itself. I like some elements of the basic map, but I had the hardest time to see the exact river lines when it was following the frontline (or the border line), because the dotted border line was hard to distinguish from the zigzagging river line. In fact I couldn't tell at all if a river was minor/medium/major - and now I can! So of course it influences path of advance, etc.

You can find these mods here:

I've downloaded this a number of time but when I try to extract it seems to be an empty zip file. Any ideas?

No worries, I was using the wrong programme to extract it.
