Ok to install on two devices?

Distant Worlds is a vast, pausable real-time, 4X space strategy game which models a "living galaxy" with incredible options for replayability and customizability. Experience the full depth and detail of large turn-based strategy games, but with the simplicity and ease of real-time, and on the scale of a massively-multiplayer online game. Now greatly enhanced with the new Universe release, which includes all four previous releases as well as the new Universe expansion!

Ok to install on two devices?

Post by DrWolfsherz »

Hi, first of all: Hello to the Community! This is my first post after buying the complete series of DW only a few days ago. I love it! Great game! But hard to get into...

Now, I would like to ask if it is ok to install Distant Worlds on two machines. I usually use my PC at home, but when travelling would love to play DW on my Laptop too.

So what is the offical stance on this?

Thank you!

I have all my games on two computers at hone ad at "work" (I am retired), and about 30 of them are Matrix games and as many are Steam games. There are very few games that do not allow installation on two computers. The only games I can think of at the moment that forbid it are some flight simulator addon planes (BOOOOO!). As long as you do not play on the two computers at the same time...
