Computer Wargames

Any Canucks here(Albertans preferably) who can provide me with the names of a few retail stores in Calgary that have a good selection of games??? Thanks in advance... the skiing is marginal this year so I've been gaming more than usual and I need some new games...also, any recommendations?

Some comments always make me scratch my head.

Joe's comment is odd "sounding" on the surface at least. Wargaming is only played by a few fans.

It is not really news that wargaming is not a major numbers sized hobby, but I think we rate more than "a few fans hehe.

Anyway, it is interesting to comment that some wargamers are prone to travel.
I was given an invite not long ago to an upcoming ASL convention in Winnipeg. By the same token, its worth commenting that an ASL event is coming up soon in Toronto.

Those are of course both events surrounding "board game wargaming. But as I am very obviously a board gamer, I should also point out I am also a computer wargaming type as well.

If you find a board gaming wargamer, odds are you have also found a hard core potential computer wargaming player additionally.

Point of all this, is that you can often locate cool sources for computer wargaming, at board gaming locations, just as well as finding board gaming locations through computer wargaming sources.

ASL has a nice listing of gamers, which includes a number of groups/individuals from our western provinces. MMP being the first site that comes to mind...

I mention those locations ahead of more intensely specific to online locations, as well being online means you are everywhere all at once.

Finally, I guess if the location must be specifically Calgary, would not the yellow pages be enough? Isolating selection to a finite region will do that to yeah.
For example, if your question had been model stores in Toronto, I would have had only one address even if it is our nations largest city.

If you have been meaning software all this time instead of board games, it has been my notice, that there is no one location that will be automatically better than another.
