Well. These figures are not tragic, but there is still long way to go.

After fist assaults line is still strong. I guess problems will start in 2-3 turns when my frontal units will be worn out and there won't be any reinforcements to provide proper rotation.

Not bad news from Moscow area. Michael's continued his push through Kaluga bridge-head and semi-encircled almost 30 divisions ... but ring is weak, he is in clear terrain and I have strong troops both inside and outside pocket. If I play it right I will maul him badly.

Bad but not tragic. I won;t be able to push him out of Stalino outskirts, consequently I will loose several divisions but I think I will inflict considerable casualties and gain one, maybe two turns here.

It looks like you should have been able to punish him around Stalino with those weak Axix mobile units hung out to dry. Did you make any attacks? A 7 CV Axis unit is a little too easy to make retreat with the 2-1 rule.

I assume you are playing non random weather. Mud would isolate almost the entire german army as they are so far from railheads. I am still in shock at the rapid soviet retreat. Turn 7 and spearheads are at Kaluga and Stalino.

I sense a counterattack could really work, but if you do not go all in, MT will. Fear and retreat have greatly aided the axis cause. Where is the Man of Steel?

Appropriate measures have already been taken [;)]

Men of Steel is still alive thanks to retreat tactics.

My forces should withstand 2-3 waves of attacks.

Very successful week in the centre. Massive counter-attacks were launched leading to reopening path to endangered units.

Some of them were extracted, other were send on suicide mission.

T7 OOB/casualties (Soviet)

My forces slowly recover from turn 1 onslaught.

If nothing major happens (I doubt that, my position is still critical) in 4-5 turns Red Army will be strong enough to stand its ground,

Generally speaking it was first good turn and German advance lost its momentum from a bit.

Destruction of 300 AFV improved my morale as well.

Nothing major happened here.

Thing that I need to note is consistently ridiculous defensive performance of armies fighting Finns. It is not the first turns of such heroics.

I find it very wrong. It should not be like that.

It seems that there won't be right hook strategy in this game. We are equally weak south of Ilmen lake.

Transitory turn.

My flanks well be endangered soon. I will have to address the threat by weakening direct Moscow approaches.

Counter-attack against armoured spearhead burned out my tank divisions, but I think it was well worth it.

My line is still cohesive.

I do not have enough troops to defend Rzhev. On the other hand I don't think (I might be wrong) Micheal has enough panzers in Vyazma area to encircle western part of Reserve front.

Generally speaking my lines do not have depth at all. I play with fire.
