Crearry, Imperial high command is having some trouble with fighters. So are we, but that is why they are having trouble.
The fact that they were recently using Oscar Ia aircraft over Luzon speaks to their failure at research. For some reason, they have screwed the pooch on aircraft R&D and production. Dunno why...[&:]

Kirishima...will she or won't she? It seems neither side has operational BB's right now in the PI battle. Washington made no progress with her B-turret. The welders had worked 4 days in a row. It's almost like someone is trying to make the war LAST LONGER. Crazy idea..but I can't shake it.

Just noticed that something with Petes was probably sunk last turn (judging from ground losses). Does Kuma have seaplanes?

PI: I'm guessing this is actually Kuma. Anyway, we miss. Kirishima seems to have made good her escape unless we can spot her and revector the subs. These are TBF's forward deployed to Vigan.

11 x TBF-1 Avenger bombing from 15000 feet
Naval Attack: 2 x 500 lb SAP Bomb
Nope - Tama was the one in this combat report from your attacks on Kirishima:

Japanese Ships
BB Kirishima, Bomb hits 1, heavy fires
CL Tama, Bomb hits 2, on fire
DD Onami
DD Harusame, Bomb hits 1, on fire
DD Teruzuki, Bomb hits 2, heavy fires, heavy damage

I noticed you called it Kuma right after the action, but thought it could have been wrong in the combat report from FOW. This second attack seems to corroborate Tama.

Just noticed that something with Petes was probably sunk last turn (judging from ground losses). Does Kuma have seaplanes?
What makes you think that's not Kirishima?
