RE: THE THREAD!!!
Thanks for all the congrats, Brothers! It's a big relief to not have to keep the house in immaculate condition every hour of every day. [:D]
Leo, prices vary greatly from area to area in the States, but we asked $224,900 and accepted $225,000, while covering $3k toward closing costs. The net is a little more than we expected.
A friend who is a real estate broker in Maryland said the same house would easily go for well over $600k there. [:D]

RE: THE THREAD!!!
I hear, from a co-worker, and verified by NWS records that it was warmer in AK yesterday than here in TN, guess that is what happens when you shift your exposure to the sun nearly 50 degrees in six months!

Yes. We've been reading about it in the news here. Most of the reported flooding is in central Europe (France, Germany), but didn't know about further north or-what about your neck of the woods, Leo?

That's normal here. Worse, is when it is warmer at the North Pole than here.[8|]ORIGINAL: nashvillen

Hungary, the Czech Republic and Austria have been badly hit as well.

Hi all,
The Danube (and other rivers parallel to it) hit almost historic record high... fortunately we had enough time to prepare and our levies are high enough so there was no flooding at all in Croatia... upstream 8(ungary, Austria, Germany) there was a lot of damage and lives lost...

Hmmm ... the forum seems to be a little jumpy. Getting internal server errors now and then.

RE: THE THREAD!!!
That has been happening for weeks for me. I just come back later. I can now blame it on an INP for page 666...
