Where are the scenarios?

Post by JudgeDredd »

Intro 1 - Bridges to Lamia
Intro 2 - Setback and Rebound

These two scenarios are listed on the product page but they are not showing on my game menu

Really?69 reads and no-one has noticed those two missing scenarios from the list?

Not even a confirmation that I'm lying?

Are they there or aren't they?

I really liked Bridges To Lamia and was hoping to replay it in this new engine - it says it's in the game, but it's not (in my list)...no-one else? Everyone else has them?

Just installed myself and the those two scenarios don't exist for me neither.....so seems like the list is incorrect on the product page (although it says only 19 comes with it but lists 21) or a problem with the install...shame it doesn't contain what it states it has.

good - thought I was going mental there.

Any word from Dave or Erik would be appreciated. Is this just an oversight?

Given the discussion about cost and number of scenarios I'm surprised no-one else noticed [:D]

Me too...looks like in the original pack announcement they were listed as being included too, so maybe still hope.

The 2 original tutorial scenarios were left out on purpose for reasons that I will leave to Dave to explain. Needless to say they will eventually re-appear.

Just thinking the product page should reflect that in case people are considering as part of their buying decision.

I doubt that these will be released as tutorials for CO; since the tutorial for CO is the BFTB tutorial, and the original COTA tutorial would have to be completely re-written to be in sync with playing the scenarios under the new engine.

Yep that's correct advice.

I don't particularly care if they are tutorials or not. I was just asking why they aren't in the game.

So they not part of the release and not going to be?

I don't particularly mind. I didn't buy the scenario pack because there were 21 scenarios or because these two were in the list (though I did enjoy them and not as tutorials). But as Grim Reaper said (and given the discussions on price for scenario packs) it's just fuel for the fire. On top of that, given the scenarios for CotA were split into 2 packs, those two should have been in the Greece pack.

Personally I thought the scenario pack was well priced and I also enjoyed the discount offered (thank you).

So just to be clear, they won't be making an entrance?

Both were fun missions to play so it would be nice to see them in the new engine.

The Bridges to Lamia and Setback and Rebound scenarios that were in the original COTA will be included in the new Command Ops 2 when it is released.
