I have been in the computer field since the mid 70's. I have been an operator, programmer, analyst and networker. Now I work on enterprise level backup software for a large company known for AV software. Not sexy, but it pays for my gaming [:)]

I've been a Tanker Truck driver for the last 18yrs. 17 yrs hauling hazardous waste liquids. This last year I switched to hauling Hazardous chemicals(Acids,Caustics, Flammables.

hoping to leave trucking this year and get into something else. But its hard for a 60 year old man to be taken seriously for a job.

Customs officer at the airport.I immigrate, emigrate, question and search people and their baggage. I've also been a farm shepherd, fishmonger, gardener, furniture removalist and a soldier. Working for customs has been the best yet.

Mechanical engineer working for a university physics department. I design and build equipment for their experiments.

Ha ! I did that in college for the bio dept. Lots of rat boxes, bookshelves and the occasional skeleton to rebuild. It was a way to earn money to get me through the 4 year BSME.

Now, Ima practicing engineer for a division of the great yellow tractor company. I do applications work for the products we sell in the oil and gas biz.

History began July 4th, 1776. Anything before that was a mistake.

I work for Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs in tax compliance. Nothing very exciting, I extract and analyse computer data from 'customers'. Seriously considering a change to something (anything) else before I get too old, and/or my anti-depressant consumption increases even further. [:(]
