COTA Brigade Night Attack

Post by Phoenix100 »

Anyone had any success with this and want to let me in on how? I never had success with it in the old COTA either. It's a really nice short scenario (24 hours)where you have some German mountain troops dug in on a decent hill and, basically, one road around it. You have - to get a decisive victory - only 12 hours to occupy the hill. I can get nowhere near. Marginal defeat my best so far, though I keep hacking at it. Just in case anyone has tried it and succeeded.

Because you ask I tried it this morning. I got a draw with 10 points to the AI's 9. I is the dumbest scenario in the series if you ask me. I'm surprised it got in but I guess they needed content. Every unit is motorized or Armor and none can even occupy the objective. I suppose the game engine can't simulate infantry leaving their trucks to fight. Makes no sense.[:-]

I got a draw this morning and just realised then, lol, that what you said is true - everything is motorised and nothing can get to the top of the hill!!! I wonder what you're meant to do.

I'll edit it in scenmaker to include some foot troops.
