Just bought Shadows: Question about upgrade

I bought the first 3 games during the beginning of the sale, I like what I saw, so I just purchased Shadows while it is still on sale. Question, if I want to finish the current game I am playing, should I 'wait' before installing Shadows? Or if I install Shadows will I still be able to load and finish that existing game?

You will not be able to continue your game under shadows.

On the plus side, the upgrade is well worth abandoning the old game. [:D]

agree w starlab, unless your current game is heaven for you - definitely upgrade and start new game.

I'm a total noob, and got killed in my first game.. I'm doing better in my next two games, thanks for tips from Darkspire for help setting up a more approachable match!.. I'm hearing that Shadows is even harder, so want to enjoy finishing the second match before jumping into the mayhem!... I installed Shadows on my 'other' computer, so that I could get the new manual and start reading up prior..
