I have the warspite in Sydney harbor, with 62,42,20 damage. It wont fix the ship saying its too much damage but when I try to send it to cape town for repairs the game keeps auto disbanding the task force. I would think that at least Sydney could at least do some repairs instead of refusing to do any at all.

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

The ship is too large to fit into Sydney's drydock so the port will only repair systems damage and NON-critical flotation and engine damage. The key is to get the systems damage down so that when you DO send it, the ship will not sink in route. So disband it and put it at critical if time is a factor or if not, leave it at normal until the system damage comes down below about 25.... then she should be good to go. But it will take some time for the ship to repair systems damage. Hal
