From the first clash at Manassas to the epic confrontation between Lee and Grant, the Brother Against Brother series will bring new levels of historical detail and realism to the battles of the Civil War. This regimental-level game, created by the developers of the award-winning Forge of Freedom, builds on that game’s acclaimed tactical engine, adding scrupulously researched orders of battle, high-quality map graphics, command and control rules reflecting the numerous challenges faced by army commanders, and plenty other features. Beginning with The Drawing of The Sword – which recreates the pivotal opening battles at Manassas , Wilson ’s Creek, Mill Springs and Williamsburg – Brother Against Brother lets you refight the Civil War from start to finish.

Glad to hear things are still happening Gil.

The silence after Bamilus's note was worrying!

By the way, I should note that I will be unveiling the game in 2+ weeks at Historicon. I look forward to showing the game to any of you who are there. And once I'm back I'll be able to show you a screenshot or two of our first map, Wilson's Creek.

I hope that will satisfy any remaining doubters that the game might advance glacially, but it is not vaporware!

Hate to tell you Gil but someone leaked a picture of Wilson's Creek. I'm posting it here for everyone to see!

A Magic Eye image of the Wilson's Creek map is a fun idea.

Gil I hope you never plan on making this for the iPad, if you are I will stop back in ten years. Please tell me you are getting a paycheck every two weeks for this game![8D]

Good one - Reminds me of the 2011 Hurricane Irene blackout in New York pictures or of the new stealth fighter pics.

Build it and they will come.
