Some steps are being taken to hopefully contain any Imperial advance to only as far as Bhamo, unless they commit more units, which would be good (to get them further away from the scene of intended Allied advance). The 75th will probably take it on the chin no matter what, though.
In the Pacific things went much better. Note that the 11th Air Fleet is being airlifted out.
