Can you tell us what the current status of development is?

I have Damian's code, just haven't merged it in with mine. Been busy...
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

As above, use the nomap option and/or increase the -Xmx value to 764m.

Right click on the .bat file, select edit. Then change the value of -Xmx512m to -Xmx764m and add a space and nomap at the end of the first line. Save the file and you should be good for another batch of turns.

Is anybody able to answer the question in this thread?

"I've been copying the db-files between two computers and now this happened - every plane in production shows as two (before this only one model, but I could live with that). Is there any way to fix this without deleting the db's? "

I've never seen this before and it would be good to have access to your DB files... having said that they are usually very large..

I can only think that you copied the files incorrectly. Is this happening on both machines?

The duplicates are mostly only seen on my desktop on which the tracker files are in my dropbox folder. Laptop tracker (files in my documents) shows two duplicate engines.

How could I copy something incorrectly? I have overwritten them from the computer I have finished the turn from.

Will the tracker generate a spreadsheet or file of aircraft carriers along with the numbers of different kinds of planes they are carrying? I've created that for myself for the Marianas scenario and it was very valuable. I'd like a similar spreadsheet for the Downfall scenario.

JRE7 for WitPTracker?

Post by guytipton41 »

Hi n01487477,

Are you folks planning to step up to JRE7? I ask because it looks like the JRE6u51 with the latest security patches is not available for downloading at Oracle. "Oracle offers updates to Java 6 only for customers who have purchased Java support or have Oracle products that require Java 6."

Cheers,
Guy

We'd like to but the problem from what I have trouble shooted is the dll not our code...

Java 6 is still available for now though.

It doesn't do this exactly but the information is there...I'll look into making a csv for you.

This error is associated with not having or having the wrong C++ redistributable installed and updated. See installation page for details. Also what version of Java are you running?

We couldn`t get Java 7 to work so he sent his copy of Java 6 since I couldn`t find it on the Java site.

I down loaded and tried vcredist_x86.exe and the x64 bit version too. Didn`t work. We installed Tracker in the root Dir. (C:\), in the WITHPAE Game folder and on the desktop. We installed Java in C:\Program Files, in a folder in the root. Nothing ...

I uninstalled Tracker and Java, after 5 hours of us messengered back & forth trying different things [:(] He is in Denmark so any help you have is much appreciated and will get to it again tomorrow with a clean install. I cannot hope to play a scenario 2 PBEM ( as Japan ) without Tracker help...

Running Win 7 on a 64bit AMD machine. Playing the new beta.

Thanks !

Rich

Well, after doing a complete uninstall of Java 7 and Tracker, I reinstalled the C++ redistributable, put Java 6 in it own Dir. in the C:\Program Files Dir. and installed tracker in it`s own Folder in the main C\|Matrix Games\WITPAE dir. Copy- pasted the Beta pwsdll.dll file into the Tracker Folder. Set the Properties and hit batch file and off it went..[:D]

Hi all, big thanks for this program guys. Not sure how the Japanese player would stay sane without it. Now I am going to ask a real numpty question but is there a manual or a site where players discuss how they use it? The level of detail now available is awesome and most of it can be worked out intuitively but not all columns have roll over data etc. If there isn't a manual or guide I will continue to massively enjoy the bits I understand but I cannot help but feel I could do so much more with everything it records.

thanks again
