IS this a browser based game? Just checked their webpage and it seems thats what they normally develop..

Hi Wodin

Fantasy Kommmander-Eukarion Wars is not a browser game.

Great turn-based strategy and RPG games such as Panzer General, Fantasy General or Pool of Radiance inspired and guided us in the development of this project. However, with “Fantasy Kommander: Eukarion Wars” we've tried to do better than our masters, adding depth to the gameplay, to the story and the setting for this genre.

Cool..I had ago of Fantasy Kommander 2 earlier..very Chess like..so I presume this will have alot more depth etc.

Yes!

This game is really bigger, deeper and better than the other of the old series.

It's on hex map, full voiced, with in-game events, a completely new battle system, a storyline that follows all the campaigns... and much more to discover!

If you want to play a true Fantasy Wargame you won't miss this one ;)

Could you perhaps go into some more detail on the battle system, as it will be this aspect in particular that will decide my purchase of the game

The Battle System (turn based) is very detailed and is based on several Combat Tables, which take into account, among others:

-the strength ratio between the Attacker and Defender
-the state of health and morale of the units
-the terrain and many other tactical factors

An important factor during a battle, is the orientation of the units: attacking the enemy on the flank rather than the front can make the difference between victory and defeat.

For all these reasons, and many other that you will discover in the game, maneuver your army carefully, and keep in mind that in order to become a great Kommander you must be able to take the right decision at the right time.

A detailed description with Combat Tables etc. will be published in the manual and the official website of the game when the game will be released.
