Turn 103, 3rd June 1943

Schascha did some light attacks, but mainly used his airpower. The front didn't move

The losses:

I felt confident with a such level of losses but in fact the balance is going on his side...

In one month the variation is as follow

Time is clearly not on my side!!!!![:(]

And above all I hate his air strikes.

Due to my reserve commitment system, I need commanders with high initiative but he is killing them regularly

"Verlorene Siege" will not be written

I'm asking how Wite manage a game without generals?

Another very lamo part of wite

I hope witw doesn't have the same stupid "random" death system or all the GHC leaders will be dead in a month.

Another great example of why people should disband Corp HQ's.

If you are set up right you can get by with 7 and even 6 for reactions and from reading the AAR, you are set-up right.

You have 4.5 million so you have a draw no problem. I was holding off 9.5 million with 3.5 handy capped with several bugs.

Its nice to see more and more GHC players learning the art of defending.

Very good AAR, old dogs can learn new tricks.

Here is the list of the general killed. e-Hitler helped the russians while executing Von Bock

At the begining of the game, HQ were alone behind the front and not stacked. But they lost roughly 500 men at each air strike.

Now I stack them with other units and try to move them regularly to prevent too easy air striking.

Losing Guderian, Manstein, Kleist and Rendulic is a harsh blow, Lindemann is also a good commander. Am I the only one who thinks massed bombing of HQs to kill leaders by either side in WITE is gamey?

Some players set as home rule no bombing of HQ when not stacking with another unit.

I think it's a good idea.

In fact it's my first campaign versus human reaching mid 1943. I don't know if 12 killed is a "normal" result.

4 th round, West of Krivoi Rog

I lost this hex but I'm really upset because, until last turn, the commander of the XXXXVI pzK was Manstein.... with him I wouldn't have lost this battle.

So the final result: GHC 3 SHC 1[:)]

Turn 105, 17 june 1943

In the East nothing new

Image

I have now not enough air 6 rating commanders for my Luftflotte...

And surprisingly the front is quiet. I don't understand why.

Good job man. What is the shortest distance to Berlin?

Once you get the hex to turn ratio positive you got this.

The soviet needs more pioneers divs in each attack , concentrate in a point to break the front.

Schascha is 56 hexes from Berlin. It's not enough for the moement but he doesn't advance a hex per turn.

SHC uses a lot of engineers.

I've seen up to 22 per attack.

I think that Schascha wants to optimize every attack. Perhaps he should do more and accept some defeats in order to weaken my OOB
