"Load tender" - Can't find in manual

I am looking at some AO's in port that have the option "load tender". What is this?

'Load tenders' is a 1-click equivalent of: Form a TF of the tenders, dock them, push the 'load supplies' button, waiting a turn until the tenders load up, and then next turn (if you remembered what you were up to) disband the TF.

It will eat some ops points of the tenders (and the port).

That is a very, very cool button. However, an even cooler button would be "Automatically Load All Tenders in the Game Every Turn," or at least the ones in that port.

No, to the last suggestion.  If you have emptied ships to have them ready to upgrade or enter port ship yards for repair, this would cause them to reload and stop them from being selected to upgrade.  I have clicked this for a ship and them remembered that it was there to upgrade.

That or use supply at the base that you don't want for your tender for some reason..
