Win XP Help!!!

Post by vonGarvin »

Please help. WIR works well on my machine (XP) with one annoying exception: several of the characters are distorted (they look chinese). How can I remedy this?

I've never seen this (on XP too), but try putting an Icon on your desktop, right click and select win95 compatibility... helps on a lot of old games/software.

Hi
If you are using a Compaq, get in touch with their support and ask for a BIOS or graphics driver update that includes EGA fonts. I know that Compaq (and a few other suppliers) removed EGA support to save space and time.
There's another thread on this issue somewhere in this forum, it can be a year old or so.

I always have problem to play in Win2000/XP
The mouse cursor cannot be seen.
The only way for me to play is to start computer in DOS, and run mouse setup program, then play it in DOS...
I'm so pathetic......
