Betap Install ?

I can`t seem to get the new Beta p ver. to a new install in a new Dir. I download it and point to the new Dir:C\ Matrix5\WITP5 run the installer and the game is still 1123n ver. ??? any ideas ?? I`ve been at it for an hour...

The beta needs to be installed in the original directory or an alternative one WITH all the games files.

Nope, I just copy/pasted a complete install of c:\matrix4\witp4 that works with the n beta and renamed it. It`s now c:\matrix5\witp5 and redirected the path in the shortcut. Set the betap installer to c:\matrix5\witp5 and nada...must be something simple...but I can`t get it.
