Scenario Information

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Even the small scenarios take time to get through from the look of it. From everything being reported this is going to be an intense game. Well over a hundred hours of gratuitous violence. I can't wait for the release [:)]

Yellow Arrow - is the decoy attack. Designed to draw NATO forces to the defense of the Fulda Gap. The area NATO expects the Soviets to attack. The Soviets use chemical weapons extensively on NATO logistical, supply and airfield targets.

Scenarios A1 through A8.

Orange Arrow - the delayed attack. This is designed to draw NATO reserves as well as to destroy the weaker NATO Belgian Corps. This is designed to tie up both British and West German forces.

Scenarios G1 through G3 and B1 through B4.

Maroon Arrow - this is the main attack. This is designed to cut off the major ports for resupply into Germany as well as to break through to the Atlantic coast and follow the coast line down capturing all major ports in the process.

Scenarios CA1 through CA5. (American Campaign)

Brown Arrow - this is a delayed attack to strike the 1st Belgian and 3rd West German Corps boundaries. The attack is delayed to allow for as many forces to be sent other places as possible. The objective is the Rhine River below Bonn.

Scenarios CS1 through CS5. (Soviet Campaign)

Good Hunting.

Have some free time right this moment. One job ended. [>:]

Not sure how long that will last as a new employer is knocking hard on the door!!! [X(]

If I have enough time before starting another job I'll try to add as many scenarios for Soviet vs AI as possible. [&o]

Good Hunting.
