Uploading .zip files

Post by Mac Linehan »

Gents -

While I have uploaded .zips in the past, I have either forgotten or am missing something basic; and have not been able to get the forum thread to accept a selected .zip for upload.

May I trouble the experts for some help on this matter.

I am feeling less than bright at the moment; but that too shall pass...<grin>

I am most grateful for your help.

I just tried it again, to answer your question and it seemed to work.

The main forum thread, upon attempting to upload, did not support .zip formats. This forum does, don't know why there is a difference. I am using internet browser 10.

Perhaps there was a glitch in the internet when I was attempting to upload, or operator error...

It would appear that merely your presence on the thread does the job. I am appreciative and in awe, Sir!

I believe the Tech Support section has a larger limit on file size for uploads, where most of the other forum subsections are just large enough for pictures, AARs, etc.

zip files are not allowed on the main forum, but they are in the tech support sub-forum.
