Yeah, and there's more bad news. Of the squadrons that survived only three were flyable......the rest were in garrison mode or
something and can't be moved. So they are still in harms way for T2 and more Axis airfield attacks. So I'm probably going to lose a lot
more squadons yet. I'll keep you posted on what happens to them because I want to know too.

I've sent my moves to John a couple of hours ago and I guess we'll see some more moves from John in about two or three days. He's
a working man and is married and real life is a hassle sometimes he says.

Is it possible to edit the forces once a game has started?

If you do it doesn't work well enough to be playable, the save feature is good for testing only (for example, it will save the current turn as turn 1, which messes up the entire scenario).

If you send me the .eqp file I will fix the Spare Equipment issue for you guys.

I have attached the equipment file to this post. Just truncate the dot txt off the end of the filename and THEN unzip it. I put the dot txt
on the filename so it would attach to this forum. You'd think they would allow zips but NNNnnnnooooooo.

Here's the zoomed out view of the front lines at the end of turn two. John is doing some severe mop-up and while the mop-up is going on
John is pushing east and north. At this rate he may be in Leningrad in about four turns. I'm going to see if I can't continue putting
roadblocks in his path and delay him here and delay him there just so I can buy enough time to get my reinforcements to the front lines.
I need to locate his Panzers too. I need to keep an eye on those bad boys.

Here's a close up of the Riga area. At least I still own Riga. I'm hoping I can hamper and delay John getting across the river somehow.
Once he's gotten his assets across the river there's not much to stop him from moving toward Leningrad. I have lots of reinforcements
but they are all way off to the east and I'm railing them and moving them as fast as they will go. It's a kind of race and it looks like he's
going to get there first.

Here's a close-up of the Minsk area. This is the Soviet view of turn 2 so there are probably lots of Axis units on the map in the picture
but they aren't visible yet. My Soviet roadblocks aren't doing much good but at least they are something for him to deal with. I expect
Minsk to fall sometime during turn 5 or 6.

Here's the area just to the NW of the Marshes. John is still dealing w/ some turn 1 stacks of Soviet stuff. My roadblocks are working in
this area. Probably because of the rugged terrain.....lots of rivers and streams and flooded marshes. I went crazy busting bridges. It
probably won't make much difference but at least I can say I tried to do everything I could to hamper his progress.

Here's the condition of the aircraft squadrons. As they come out of reorg I'm moving them to the Moscow area to rest and refit. They are
already starting to recover. A lot of the orange squadrons were red last turn. So things are improving. As soon as the IL-4's are rested
I'm going to start some bridge busting far to the west so John has to dispatch some engineers to the west and therefore can't use them at
the front lines.

Here's the area just SW of the Marshes. I have a couple of light screens and then I'm starting to get my Stalin Line built slowly. I'm
hoping I can count on my screens for a couple of turns to get some more units into the front lines. If I don't John will blow through my
Stalin Line and then it would be a race for the river to the east. And he's got Panzers.

And far south to the NW of Odessa John is already getting his Romanians across the Prut river and I'm blowing bridges along the
Dneper. In previous versions of this scenario the Romanians are in garrison mode until turn 4 but not this scenario.

Here's the expected reinforcements for turn 4. All the reinforcements in the world. And there's more where that came from. I'm starting
to get those squadrons that were shot down earlier in the game. The problem is getting these reinforcements to where they can really
be used before John gets there.

Here's a closeup of the Riga are now. I'm expecting John to thrust his units across the river either in turn 4 or 5. I expect him to do that
because he knows that the defensive line is just going to get tougher as time passes. I'm going to be digging in further, and more units
are going to show up and I'm shipping in more arty etc. I really like how John is using his bombers. He does pre-attack strikes to get the
arty to disentrench and so on. It's more realistic that way. Cool. I've been watching John's moves and he doesn't waste any efforts.
I like how he handles his units.

Here's the Minsk area now. John is surrounding my roadblocks and going around them w/ the rest of the column. So he is still advancing
even though he hasn't yet mopped up in the rear yet. It's working out pretty well for him so far. My roadblocks aren't slowing him down
very much but he is being slowed down somewhat. I'm getting my units to their defensive positiions pretty well however, so I'm expecting
we will be toe-to-toe here pretty soon. I'm building a defensive line to the west of Smolensk and John's units are approaching it.

Here's the area south of the Marshes. I've gotten a good start on the Stalin Line but I'm worried that John will just go around the SW
end of the line where the Romanians are pushing north and east. I'm guessing that turn 4 or soon thereafter John will be crossing the
river at some place where I haven't yet put defenders. That's why it's a kind of race for me to get my people in place before John gets
there.

This is the Odessa area now. So far so good. Some Romanian units are already across the river on the left side and I'm expecting
more real soon now. But I've got a good start on the defensive line along the river to the right side. So all is good here so far.
