A lot of northern states use that phrase. Here, earlier this month record lows. Now nearing and tying record highs. Another odd year.

Welp, the Penguin showed himself a true sportsfowl in our game, agreeing to a temporary ceasefire while I extracted a TF that had become stuck in a hex. Still cost me two carriers, but good on him.

What happened that your TF became 'stuck'?

Old bug happened. TF's sometimes get stuck in certain island hexes; there's a couple in the Solomons and apparently Bathurst Island is another.

This is no joke. It's happened to me several time over the years. I didn't know Bathurst was another place it could happen, so I didn't notice the TF was stuck there before the Penguin's bombers had finished off Indomitable and Formidable.

So, I decided to audition for the local play in town this fall through the college.

I have never done this before, and wanted to try something new. I don't mind getting up in front of people or talking in front of audiences at all..

The play is A Night of Broadway.

I talked to the head chick...

I told her I can't sing or dance that I'm aware of and was only interested in a non-singing and dancing part. She said they need lots of narrators so come on out and give it a shot.

I talk for a living and figured the worst thing they can say is no.
