Mike

Updates are OK I suppose, but I would *much* rather have a firm target date, or at least a firm target *month*. Rik already said that it will be released this year, and I was half kidding when I asked if we'd see it by Christmas, as we've asked that question so many times before, but we haven't seen a target month yet, and it's the end of September, so it's going to be pretty darned close to actually expect to see it released to the public this year. In fact, i would be very pleasantly surprised to see this game under my Christmas tree, but given the track record for this project, I really don't expect it. Do you?

Well, seeing how they are this far into Beta testing, and they should have a final build close at hand....I really don't see what the real hold up is.[&:]
For being sooooo close...you would think there would be more info(it just seems to have dried up) has there been anymore comments/pics on that other website?? Guess will see...

Woops.  I said "this is the end of September" when it's really the end of August.  LOL.  Well, they can probably use the extra month. (-:

LOL! You are sooooooo right! We must be very very careful about the way we phrase our questions. It's like talking to lawyers. Getting Matrix to give a definite answer to *anything* is impossible, but i'm going to try. See my next post which will be titled "Rik. Can we have a definite answer".

k9mike,

Quick update from a beta-tester:
Bugs are being squashed at an increasing rate. Games plays solidly.
Scenarios are being played by a large number of testers and are getting to be well balanced.
From my isolated view I don' see any problems that could keep you from seeing HoS this year.

Thanks a lot. I only wish that the Mods, or Erik and them would give abit more comment on this. But, really appreciate your time and work on the project. I wish I would have joined the team, but was tied up with work and other stuff and didn't feel would be able to help in a good enough manner. Thanks again.
