It is not that I am not aware I just find it strange that so many people rant about the Lvov pocket yet say if a Lvow pocket isn't done the Axis have already lost.

I for one have no problem with a Lvov pocket. Maybe this AAR will shed some light on what can be done without it happening to a Soviet player. I do think Dak41s tempo is a bit off so as an example it may be moot.

It's because they're not the same people.

The best way to show what can be done without the Lvov pocket is to do it yourself.Pick a decent opponent though.
Logic tells me that it must be a bad idea.If SW and Southern front were forced to stay in the South, that would be a different matter, but because the Soviet player is free to move units wherever he likes then 2nd pz army will find a massive force in it's path when it gets to where it's going.
It would be interesting to see what happens.Maybe the added momentum in the center would give you compensation?I doubt it though.

Very true, its basicly an insta win for SHC without it and yes the same people that bitch about it know that it is an insta win.

Its basicly like talking to the wall as I have found with so many things the last 2 yrs.

There is no ammo bug
There is no armaments bug
There is nothing wrong when you have 1.2 million men in pool and 250,000 arm pts in pool
There is nothing wrong with how NM is working.

but they all have been addressed and fixed have they not.

4 end north. We are as ready as can be here in the bottleneck.

4 end center. Have to be careful here as he could dash towards Pskov. I have some very strong units in the way of his Panzer ball so I am somewhat confident of containment.

4 end center 2. He is pushing south of Mogilev for his crossing.

4 end swamp fighting. Fighting in the swamps near Veliky Luki is pretty harsh but he is making very little headway. He does have a stack ready to pounce.

4 south panzer rout. Was able to pick off one Panzer division.

5 north end. Not much changed the bottleneck holds against his Panzers.

5 center 1 end. Slow progress on his part.

5 center end 2 - he is prepping for the river crossing. Must be waiting for the 4th army hammer.
