If John gets washed out that would put him in my state. He would need to finish 6.0 still. On the other hand I don't have a place to park the caboose at the house.

He can float the caboose down the Rio Grand, snag him as he goes by. [8D]

Appreciate the concerns guys!

La Salle sits on top of a 50-60 Ft bluff with farmland all around us. If WE flood then I need to convert the Caboose over to an ARK! Don't think there is enough beaverwood around here to get it to float...

Might start looking though...

I thought I had had a major disaster today. Sent Michael the latest 6.0 version to look at numbers and found I SCREWED up saving it into the wrong slot overwriting nearly everything done in the last two weeks. Luckily I had sent files to the playtesters just two days ago and had THOSE files saved. Got a little work to do to for what was lost but luckily it isn't hardly a thing.

Thank Goodness!

Michael decided to raise some of the Recon/Fighter Squadrons that arrive through mid-43. You still need to add some planes but we get rid of the stupidity of only having TWO out of twenty-seven (or something like that)...

Michael can add more when he wants:

I opened Scenario 55 (RA 6.04) and looked at the Allied Air Reinforcements. Here are some increases for them, mainly Recon, so they come in close to full rather than take 2 to 4 months to fill out.

RECON
#3529 - F4 - 10
#2552 - F2A - 8
#3531 - F4 - 10
#2865 - PB4Y-1P - 6
#2866 - PB4Y-1P - 6
#2868 - PB4Y-1P - 6
#3540 - F5A - 12
#3541 - F4 - 12
#3539 - F7A -10
#2869 - PB4Y-1P - 6
#3527 - F7A - 10
#3526 - F7A - 10

AMERICAN FIGHTERS (increase from 2 to # for groups which max at 25)
#4120 - P38G - 15
#4121 - P38G - 15
#4122 - P38G - 15
#4072 - P40 - 15
#4073 - P40 - 15
#4074 - P40 - 15
#2599 - F4U - 15
#2602 - F4U - 15
#3710 - A36 - 12
#3711 - A36 - 12
#3712 - A36 - 12
#3713 - A36 - 12

These fighters go through 1 July '43

Hi John, I all.
playing RA 5.3 I've found that A6M8 can be in production already in nov '42 with normal R&D work acceleration
(if I remind well it's enough just creating 3 x30 R&D factories from the start (explointg the zero line of course).
Don't know if it changes in RA 6.0 but it seems really exagerate that you can get it so much before Hellcat! A6m8 eats alive wildcats, To a better balance IMO they should
Arrive almost together with hellcats with normal R&D acceleration. In real life A6m8 arrived only in 1945!!!
We want back some supplies in change [:D]

Isuspect this is why ra6.0 has the extra p38s.

Gary's book thread made me wander through Jentshura's book on the IJN and I looked at the B-64 (9 12" Guns and Long Lances) project versus the B-65 (9 15" Guns no TTs) and got to thinking which would be more fun to have in the Mod. Do you want two BUTCH Fast Pocket Battleships or a pair of under-armored but big gunned Battlecruisers?

Voting has opened...

I just want my P-38s. I'll find a way to sink the BB lites, what ever type they are. [8D]

What is under-armored by B 65 ? what is the armour in mm by the B 65 ?

It was to be built as a SUPER-Cruiser with strong cruiser armor and HUGE guns. I am not familiar with the Alaska-Class. How much armor do they carry?

Won't change the specs from what was planned though...

Checked Jentshura just to be safe though...

B-64 - Have two upgrade options. One keeps the torpedo tubes, while the other goes into one with more AA.

Hey Michael.

Plan to call today. You around?

Life has been...SCARY...the last few days.

Like that upgrade possibility of throwing out those tubes and replacing with my 100MM. Nice thought!
