If there was an upgrade in any one of the constituent units, then it will not recombine until the other units get the same upgrade. Check to see if one was allowed to upgrade and the others didn't have the chance or were not ordered to upgrade. That is usually the problem. Hal

Click on the unit OOB button. It will tell you why the unit can't recombine. There are many reasons.

Ive checked the OOB and I don't think any unit has upgraded since they were all in the same area

Being in the same area has little effect on upgrading unless the location is isolated from supply and command.

Upgrading has more to do with whether or not you set any of them to do so.

Compare each device type between the units to determine if any unit has an upgraded device type not found in the other units.

Also be sure to check: a) different command assignments?; and b) do any of the components have miles toward "moving" accumulated? I think both these can prevent recombination.

I think unit mode also plays a part. I think they need to be all in the same mode or all in rest/combat mode. My thoughts w/o seeing a pic of unit (which would help us) would be either a device has upgraded or mode since you say they're all same hq. Also as Bill said earlier a click can answer it for you

keep checking. if you're really stuck, do screenshots of each constituent part and compare them. Somehting is different. HQ, device, stance, movement, ... something.

This has happened to most of us at least once.
