River Ironclads?

Post by The Red Baron »

Checking over the available units in Recruitment mode, I see I can build many types of ships but river ironclads are not among them. Have these been removed as units from CWII? IIRC, they were used in AACW. Do they appear later once the war has progressed? I am currently at the beginning of the 2 theater grand campaign playing as Union.

Just as in the previous game, you don't get to build them right away. The USS Monitor event will fire @T5-6 IIRC.
