infantry upgrades, how to?

infantry upgrades, how to?

Machine guns/modern industrial seems to make upgrades available to level I infantry.

What technology permits upgrade to level II infantry?

Go to your Researh window/page, in that to your left side is a picture of the tech (Infantry in your case), below that window, are 2 smaller windows, that read "previous" and "next", click one or the other to see the next level up, or previous for those already completed. Hope that helps...

Each upgrade rise level of infantry. Same for other units. (If I'm correct modern industrial rise level to II.

Go to to the "next" window under the picture in Research, keep clicking next, it will scroll the higher levels/steps, same in each tech catagory.

One thing I can't see is whether each research item says what unit will be upgraded.
