[FIXED] Install: NET Framework

I'm wondering why my install wanted to install Net framework 4.0, did so, then offered either to repair it (restore it to its original state) or delete it from my PC. I'm sure it will not be an issue but I am a little concerned that this will not mess with the Net Framework installation I need for other applications. Thank you!

I am running Net 4.5 on my machine, I did not do the roll back, she loaded and runs for me, will wait for a official reply before doing a roll back, got a error message first load up, but 2nd try got me into the game, so could be on my end.

Did you do a restart before starting the game for the first time?

Yeah, I did do all that. I got just enough PC knowledge to be extremely dangerous to my PC. LOL

I posted a screen shot in the support section because it said to do it. LOL

That's what the Microsoft Installer does when the right version of .NET is already installed. No need to worry in that case, you can either cancel the .NET installer or repair your .NET installation and neither will cause any harm.

I'm running Win8.1 64bit Preview and what I did was update/verify my .Net 4.5 and Directx installs from the Microsoft websites for the latest versions of each. Then I installed the game and canceled any attempts to install/update .Net or Directx.

Not sure that works for every flavor of the Win OS but got me going.
