I just thought I'd step in for him. This was a IIP for CB. And strike down somebody or others tyranny.

Loved this! Great find.
I have never seen a picture of Martin, there were several shots of the birds being worked on, though.
That's because I'm not a big fan of getting into photos etc. I'm naturally a shy creature.[;)] If people know your face and name then you get some stranger asking to be your 'friend' on Facebook. To this, I say Non!
There are pictures out there of me at work, but they're almost all in the private domain [:D] I'm not in the book, so don't buy it to see pictures of me. Because you'd be disappointed, probably less than if there were pictures of me, but still disappointed.

One can understand and respect that in today's world. Just keep up the great work and keep putting up great images of your babies and I will be satisfied. I don't think they mind! [;)]ORIGINAL: Dixie

M’kay, Occasionally do restaurant reviews for the City of Fairhope. Fairhope is a rather eclectic place and prides itself on its insularity.and general je ne sais quoi. Have had seriously good food and wine at several local restaurants. But recently found a bad seed.
La Cocina, (authentic Mexican food) , corner of Volanta Ave, and N. Section is not worth the time and certainly not worth the money. It’s nothing but a Tex-Mex house that charges you $12 for a $5 enchilada plate because they have a ‘nice’ building.
I walk in and say hi and happen to get the manager. He says hi, in Spanish, so I talk to him in Spanish. His eyes glaze over. He has no clue, so I continue in English. “Looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant and do you have any Baja stuff?” Well, he’s “been” to Mexico, but he thinks Baja is a city somewhere that has fish.
Then he tees off on his corn tortillas and when I say I prefer tortillas flautas, he is totally clueless. What is flour tortillas?
And then the biggie, I asked about huachinango a la veracruzana, and the puke says “ I’m sorry, we don’t speak French, here.”
This place is a worthless, pathetic, Tex-Mex, absolutely not worth anything you want to spend at this utter fake authentic ‘Mexican” restaurant.
Ciao, John

Flight out for the interview gets scrubbed on the tarmac. Some nonsense about 'steering failure'. Just take off and point the damn thing towards the southeast. Ish. What do you need brakes or steering for anyways? [:D]
It takes the lovely folks working for the airline two hours to tell me what I found out in the interim. No flight can get me to the airport I'm supposed to be at until 1am. [8|] I call my contact with the company and postpone the interview by mutual agreement. Flight and rental car fully refunded, but there's 7 hours out of my life that I won't get back. [:(]
Glad to see Steve-o is keeping things safe for democracy. Good job there, dude, fighting the tyranny! [&o]

Ok, I guess this restaurant will not get a very good rating/review? [:D]
