Is it possible to override "engaged defensive"

Post by Jorge_Stanbury »

I have a submarine running away from a torpedo; I cannot order it to change speed or depth because it is in "engaged defensive status"

Is there a way to manually override this status?

thanks

Yes. On the Doctrine/RoE options, set "Auto Evade" to No.

I would like this too but I guess we would then need to have player controlled decoys also unless they would do that automatically even if we have selected no for auto evade?

Yes, point-defences and decoys/countermeasures operate automatically even if "Auto Evasion" is set to NO (and even if the "Hold Fire" option has been enabled).
