Ice Packs

Post by ParachuteProne »

Hi :
Where can I go to find details on ice thickness/borders ?
Don't want to place my nice new frigate in the middle of an icepack :)

The ice borders are visible on the map, for example:

If you try to place a surface ship (other than icebreaker) on the ice, you will get a message that you cannot place it there.

Strange, I can place a surface ship North of Ellesmere island in a scenario starting in March.

Looks like the ice border doesn't move with time of year yet ?

Really pleased with the game BTW. You guys did a great job.

Would love it if you added some Canadian Icebreakers and infantry sometime.

I just tested this. I could place a ship on the ice and even drive it about. But if I left the ice and tried to re-enter it, no go.
