No need to inform us of every sub attack with dud torps! We all know it happens 90% or the time in the first year of the game.

When a Japanese torpedo duds on USS Boise, that gets your attention!
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

He is a NASTY opponent! I have been getting my *SS whipped and it is very disheartening.

This game (John 3rd as Allies, Viberpol as Japan) has just ended 3/20/42 with Japanese major victory.
The result says: 2,95 : 1 for the Japanese.

John 3rd lost his interest in this game and bailed out after receiving serious punches.
I attach the "ships sunk" list for visual confirmation of his naval losses:
2:0 in carriers
8:0 in battleships
19:1 in cruisers

I bear no grudge against John 3rd but somehow feel a pity
because this was to be a Reluctant Admiral game where he was to show
the Allies are not that weak as it seems and can hold the ground against modified Japanese OOB.

Have been so focused on RA 6.0 that I didn't even realize that viberpol had commented here.

Want to edify the commentary above:

I was--ABSOLUTELY--getting my BU** whipped but was having fun with it. My good opponent fails to mention that I still was getting in some good punches in hitting the Kuriles with the remaining US CVs and was headed back into the Central Pacific when we ended. The glacial pace of 2-3 turns a week caused issues. I would get a turn, run it, send it, and then wait several days for a return. No crisis this is just how viberpol plays as a very methodical player. Then life really reared its head and I found out that I could no longer continue with three separate games. Lew stopped the RA Campaign where I captured Australia. This left two but there still wasn't time to play Dan's Campaign, run my business, have a life and family, as well as work on RA 6.0. Made a simple decision. Dan's game was more important (as has been written in that thread) to me so I cut this one. Little did I know that his game with me would die just a month or so later!

Will note that since that time all I have done is work on 6.0. Am thinking of taking 6.0 out for a 'test drive' but am in no hurry due to life continuing to be on the wild side of CRAZY!
