Shells explode everywhere in the woods, but we hang tight, waiting for the soviet invaders. Our own mortars fall where we think the soviets are , the results is that we see many body parts fly up in the air from a distance. They did great as our troops keep watch of the walls of smoke ahead.

The order goes out: Advance!

Some cowards refused to move, they said they were pinned down by something they called 'Finnish mortar fire', my commisars didn't understand these words and immidiatly shot the traitors. After this everybody immediatly advanced.

Nothing much happened, spotted 2 47mm guns and 2 40mm aa guns, exchanged some shots with the 40mms, one of those damned things knocked out the suspension on of my T34s.

As a BA-10 was scouting it came under fire by a 47mm gun, but luckily this gun malfunctioned before it could do any damage. :p

Infantry and the whole guards armoured division is moving in.

Artillery has received orders to fire for effect.

The soviet forces seem to be concentrated in the south from what our troops report, limited contacts in the north report a tank and armored car, the tank is dispatched while we get ready for more troops to come in.

In the south, a tank is destroyed while our troops hang tight , awaiting the assault. A stupid mistake in the deployment had a stupid hq get stuck on the front line while making inspections. Our mortars keep the pressure up around where we think the forces will come from.

**** I lost alot of tanks this turn. O_o

Since when can a low speed 37mm gun knock out several T34s ???!!!

Those dug in ft tanks are getting annoying, troops move on, 2 lmg squads & a hmg gun encountered in the north town, an at rifle in that town destroyed one of my BT7s.

Tanks quickly swept in to the village and laid some supressing fire on the AT rifle building till it caught fire.

Northern infantry battalion is getting annoyed by the troops on the northern village, beware thou, 203mm cannons raining down on them in 0.5 turn

Encountered some light mortar fire, took about 3 infantry casualties, not much.

But all those lost tanks...

Two more tanks and an armored car are taken out by the brave defenders. One of our AA gun crew exposed themselves too much while firing and lost a member.

In the south, the stupid hq that got stuck on the frontline manages to move back to safety. Meanwhile the troops get ready for the assault, we might be taking out tanks, but arty is expected and soon falls among our dug in soldiers.

In the center, snipers have fun playing target practice on soviet recon squads.

In the north, a wall of soviet troops is spotted, machineguns start to fire but are quickly pinned down by the soviets
