ASW helicopters and ship formations

In Harpoon you could put your ASW helicopters in formation with your surface group to look for subs in designated sectors relative to the surface group. Is there some way to do it in Command?

Currently I'm doing ASW missions so that I put them into a mission area with reference points. The problem is that I have to keep moving the reference points manually when the ship group moves. Surely there is some way to automate this so that helicopters move their search area when the ships move?

You need to use those 'make reference point fixed to bearing' options up at the top. Define your area by the taskforce and then link it to the taskforce, so if it moves the points move with it.
