Frequent crashes/lockups in Operation Bass Drum

Hi

Last night i played the Operation Bass Drum three times. Every time the game ended in a crash, or a lockup, where the game just stops and becomes unresponsive. Only solution is to terminate the whole program from task manager.
I could not pinpoint this problem to any particular situation. Basically it happened always in the first three hours of game time, so not very far. Needless to say that it is extremely annoying once you have spent hours playing and then it crashed.

It happened twice with the original executable and then once with the v.1.01 release candidate 2 (build 439).

On the positive side, the performance increase with 439 seemed quite good. Especially in the beginning of the scenario.

Also autosave files don't seem to work. When you load up autosave there is no effect, the game world is just empty.

Windows 7 home premium, amd x4 955, 8g ram. No problems in other programs/games.

Sorry, it seems that the autosave file was overwritten just today when loaded up another scenario. Maybe it would be a good feature idea for the next game version to have it keep some kind of autosave file history by renaming the old autosaves for these situations?

Ok, here is a autosave file from the Downtown scenario where a similar situation occurs. Time setting was in 5minutes.

Shamal just did the same to me. I have a high end gaming laptop, yet the burst of activity as my F-16's id'd the Iraqi complex completely hung the game.

Hi,

Seems like I'm not the only one to have encounter crash problems on Operation Bass Drum.

Every time I load the attach save file (BassDrum_06.save)and start simulation, game is not responding after 5s.
It happend on Command latest version from updater (Build 435?) and on Build 460

I tried to disable high fidelity mode, it's not working.
I tried to start from a previous save 5 minutes sooner (BassDrum_05.save), the same crash happend at the same time

I hope the saves files can help you.
