Black map

have game running but don't seen to have the relief map...just black map with country borders.checked relief map in options but no show...is it me?lol

A screenshot would indeed help. If you zoom in and out, any change? Could you post a DxDiag for us please?

I had the opposite last night--map went to white. It was the first ASW Tutorial and right when I killed the Red sub the display area went white and than gradually faded to dark. Moving the zoom in and out eventually brought the map back.

FYI, I then replayed the Tutorial and I could not repeat the white screen.

Just black map here. Same in all zooms. Rebooted PC and no change.

Wow. I only posted 3 days ago and already my black map issue is near the bottom of Page 2... Any news on the resolution as I can't play the game at all ATM?

They have acknowledged the issie, asked for additional information and as long as they are silent I suspect they are working on fixing the issue instead of posting to this thread. I am sure if they need additional infos or if they have a fix worked out they'll give you an update.

Oh, right. Silly of me to think that my sixty bucks is important enough to get a reply to my bug report! I will take your advice to shut up and go away now. (Note to self - must keep quiet about any problems with products you have paid good money for).

Can you please re-download and re-install the game? I recall this happening once (just once) when there was a problem with the map tiles because of a corrupted download.

I see 3 replys from representatives of Matrixgames and one direct reply from one of the Command developers in this thread alone. All tryin to fix your problem. To be honest, I don't see a reason for you to complain about not being taken seriously, although I certainly understand that you are upset about your Problem. Additionally, I did not tell you to shut up, I merely wanted to point out that they are apparently working on the problem. Lastly I am neither a Matrix representative, nor do I represent the Command developers, just me offering my personal opinion. Feel free to ignore it and continue demanding more personal attention to your problem.
