Wild Bill ordered me here!

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

You guys (Matrix Games) are too good to be true! I will faithfully support Matrix Games with my wallet and my mouth! Everyone I know who is interested in wargaming is gonna hear great things about you guys! Your product line looks simply spectacular!!!

Right now, your company is the sole reason, I'm looking to upgrade my PC (well, CM might have something to do with it also). I'm still working with "bearskins & stone knives" (486DX2/66MHz with 20 MEG RAM). And I hear WAJ will only run on a pentium? Gotta save those penny's! ;-)

Game on!

I did, Rhino, and it was worth every penny. I can see the graphics of CM and SPWAW in all their glory, fast, easy, and real peaceof mind.

If you enjoy gaming like I think you do, it is worth it. Go for it...Reason enough!

Rhino - good call.

I popped out on Friday and upgraded my modem.

Looks like I will also open the well worn wallet for one of the other Matrix games - as a sign of appreciation for SPWaW.

Thanks in advance Nik. We'll try to make sure you get your money's worth (G).

I am sincerely hoping we can revive the sagging wargaming market. There are a number of promised games by various companies.

We hope not only to promise, but to deliver.
Your support and that of others is our biggest need right now.

We'll try not to let any of you down...WB

Wild Bill said he was trying to revive the sagging wargaming market. According to Bill Trotter in PC Gamer, small companies like HPS and Matrix ARE the future of computer war gaming. They don't sell well enough to interest the suits who run the big companies. We must support the small firms if we want new wargames. I plan to get Napoleon when it comes out, SPNam, SP2000.

I think there will always be the split descion of Vitual 3D and the Board game style of play. But, if you do it right, I don't think you can go wrong either way.
Right now, there are some great..highly rated, board style "war games" on the market.
Alot more than any virtual 3D war games.
But, you have to ask yourself, "what is causing the war game interest to die"?
And I personnaly feel it's because "WAR GAMES" have not kept up with the graphics industry. They game play and detail has always been thier biggest attraction. But look at what's being shoved down our throats from the PC game indusrty. FLASH, FLASH, FLASH.
Know what I mean?
