When??!!??

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

As much as I want to buy RS this week I will probably wait until next week as I will not be able to start playing it until then with my work schedule this week. [:(] I will be looking forward to it though.

Want to buy it ASAP. But as I'm away on holiday, I'll have to wait until Sunday, unless I order tomorrow and download Sunday. (Thinking, thinking hard)

Thanks Erik, I know this is like pulling teeth but any word on the price so I can budget my money for the month accordingly? Even a price-ish range? :P

This would be very helpful for me because last week I found out I had MS (and was hospitalized for it) and now I am on a very limited budget due to disability so at the very least a range would be nice please.

Matrix doesn't announce pricing before a game release.

Recently, the developers stated (obliquely) that FPCRS would cost less than Command: Modern Air and Naval Operations. That game costs $80/$95 (download and boxed).

Personally, I'm expecting ~$40 for the download-only edition.

See, this is the only thing I hate about grog game publishers because Battlefront does it too. We all know these are niche games so they might be expensive, but we still buy them, people will always moan and complain. That and the game grog game publishers don't do pre-order downloads in the year of our Stalin 2013.

Try it out once. I swear I could be dying of cancer and ask a dev or head for at least a price range and they'd still remain stalewart over it. Everything else is perfect in the grog community except this. This is just annoying and doesn't help customers on budgets who want to portion correctly to support them. It's frustrating i'm sorry.

If i remember correctly the price war thread is in general chat forums.

I guess the price for boxed and download and the download only will also be announced tomorrow. I know we can never wait for the release of a highly awaited game, but to start talking about the price, we'll I think this is the wrong thread. I want the game I'll buy, I want but can't afford it- then I save or wait for a sales date. And I know I am not the person to start a debate on this subject, let's just enjoy enjoy the prerelease hype! Please!
