Help with...Tutorial?

Post by Dorb »

In the first tutorial, they want me to take Sherman south to take out some Rebs after my Cavalry spotted them.
Problem is to get Sherman to attack them it takes 20 days to reach.(yes I did the re-route so they don't attack across the river like it says) Game turn is only 15 days. So I hit turn again to get him into combat, which works but the tutorial moves on to like 3 steps in the next phase which I can't catch up.(the part about shipping units down the river and combining them) Is this a bug or am I really just not cut out for this game. PS really love what I see so far, nice to get an actual printed game manual, have not seen them since days long, long ago.

Restart the tutorial and start moving the force the turn before it tells you, then it should time right and you can continue. I think that's how I got through it.

I had this problem as well. I just attacked across the river rather than around it and kept up with the tutorial that way.[:)]

This will be fixed in the official 1.01 version. It appeared in the 1.01 public beta version I believe, because we changed how development level alters move speed.
