Generally........
How many men in an IJ Infantry Division?
How long does it take an IJA Div. to recover from 50% AV loss?
In my latest game (Dec 8 Scenario) the IJA has about 80k casualties by Jan 29, '42. Is that significant?

Depends on the breakdown of those casualties. The general answer is "probably not".

I've never played the IJA, so very unfamiliar with their units.
