Boxed Edition - DELIVERED!

Post by Primarchx »

Happy Dance, time! My boxed edition just arrived!

Don't ask me to describe the contents as I'm keeping it sealed for mantlepiece display. [:)]

I got notified that it was shipped, but I'm sitting here in Brazil and it'll be a while before I get my grubby paws on it.

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

Mine too and I had no intention of opening it until I felt the weight...hmmm manual eh....this is one thing I think the Devs knew would make a difference......still griping about the price?

Now I am in a dilemma, my Harpoons are unopened, including the 1980 original...

Should I open it and 'feel' the manual?

Ok I could not stand it. I opened it.

Kudos for a very nice manual. I can not remember the last time I got one, a hard copy with a game. This alone should let those know this is the real deal.....

Edit: Thanks for the Epilepsy warning....there was nothing in it about too many beers though :)

I got mine today as well, very nice. The manual even smells interesting, or maybe that's me [;)]. Nice quality all around.

I just got mine. [:)] The smell of victyory eh? It does not smell of ink, maybe the printers are green?
Anyway, it is in my possesion, and later today, on with the show from Baloogan[:)]
The manual will stay in the box, I will continue reading on my nook hd+.

Received mine on Thursday! Was jumping for joy when it came. Nicely printed manual and attractive box art.

Indeed. The manual does bring back memories of the days when games came with nice printed manuals. And this is not a skimpy manual.
It is just the right size to take with you if you wish to read while away from your rig.

Is the physical copy of the book more in depth than the e-book version?
Just on the fence about getting this game :)
